En algunos casos, viajar como peat\u00f3n puede comprender todo el viaje, en otros puede comprender solo una parte del viaje, como caminar hacia y desde las paradas de autob\u00fas. Hay muchas razones por la que las personas eligen caminar, por ejemplo para ir a la escuela o al trabajo, para acceder a otras formas de transporte, para visitar mercados o seres queridos, o para recrearse.<\/p><p>Los peatones son usuarios vulnerables de la v\u00eda. En muchos pa\u00edses, los atropellamientos son una de las principales causas de muertes y lesiones.
